The Creative Corner

What if discarded cardboard, forgotten magazines, and unwanted advertisements could become beautiful works of art? For Quamaine Giles, a Stone Mountain-based mixed-media artist, that's exactly where creativity begins! Guided by a philosophy of second chances, Quamaine transforms overlooked materials into imaginative artwork filled with new meaning and purpose. After working in engineering and information technology, he discovered his true passion in art—and hasn't looked back!

Today, Quamaine operates his studio and Home Room Gallery on the second floor of The Mayor's House, above Gilly Brew Bar. Through his gallery, he introduces art and culture to Stone Mountain Village while creating opportunities for emerging artists to exhibit their work, gain experience, and connect with the community.
